Yes, we can see patients without the need to see a dentist first. As Registered Dental Hygienists, we are licensed oral health professionals who can provide a variety of services, including teeth cleaning, oral exams, and dental x-rays. We are also trained to recognize oral health issues that may need to be referred to a dentist for further evaluation and treatment. In some cases, a dentist may need to evaluate a patient before allowing us to proceed with certain procedures, such as deep cleaning, scaling and root planning. Yes, we can provide dental hygiene services to people with mobility issues or disabilities. We have a team of highly trained dental hygienists who are experienced in working with patients who have mobility limitations and we can modify our procedures as needed to accommodate their specific needs. We can provide services in the comfort of their own homes or long-term care facilities, and we are equipped with portable equipment that can be easily transported to different locations. We also take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our patients during the appointment.
