Dental Hygiene Express is a mobile clinic on wheels. The first of its kind in Fort McMurray, Alberta, we can be found all over the city and even in surrounding areas. You may see us at workplaces, in your neighbour’s driveway, at campsites, schools, and even at long term care facilities.
We provide services to all areas of Fort McMurray, Alberta. We can meet you anywhere as long as there is a parking spot.
As of now, we offer services within Fort McMurray, Alberta, the surrounding areas, and campsites. If there is a need for other areas please contact us to discuss. We are always willing to broaden the delivery of our services.
Yes we accept insurances. We can accept up to 2 insurances per patient.
Yes we do. Just provide us with your insurance information and we can direct bill any eligible treatment to your insurance(s) directly from our mobile clinic.
Yes. Our clinic is equipped with digital x-rays. During your assessment we will determine whether or not there is a need for x-rays to be taken. If needed, we can take them right on board our mobile clinic. X-rays are often needed to assess for evidence of bone loss, cavities, and disease. Copies can be e-mailed or printed and sent directly to your dentist or other health care professional at your request
One of our main goals at Dental Hygiene Express is to ensure that every visit is as comfortable and pleasant as possible for every patient. For this reason we offer a variety of desensitizers to best suit your needs: topical anaesthetic, local anaesthetic, Oraqix, Mi Paste, Duraflor. Most importantly we will work with you and your comfort level.
We have different options including a fluoride rinse, fluoride trays, and fluoride varnish. We also have fluoride alternatives, please discuss with your dental hygienist the best option for you.
OUR MOBILE CLINIC IS EQUIPPED WITH AIR CONDITIONING FOR THE SUMMER AND HEAT DURING THE WINTER MONTHS TO MAXIMIZE YOUR COMFORT.
