Brittany Lalonde

Owner, Registered Dental Hygienist

Brittany is the owner of Dental Hygiene Express. She offers appointments in Fort McMurray, Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding areas. Her passion for dental hygiene shows in the relationships she builds with her patients. She provides her patients comfort during procedures while making sure they are informed and educated on their individual needs. She is an advocate on making every appointment enjoyable. Brittany is working to obtain her Bachelor of Health Science through Thompson Rivers University. She loves continuing dental education and being up to date on the latest technology and standards of dentistry. She recently obtained her dental hygiene prescribing course through the university of Alberta. Her main goal as a dental hygienist is to always provide exceptional patient-focused care so that your mouth stays healthy not only today, but for years to come. Brittany loves meeting new people and making them feel welcome and at ease with their dental treatment.

Heather-Marie Curlew

Registered Dental Hygienist, Newfoundland Partner

Heather-Marie is a passionate dental hygienist who partnered with us to open the Newfoundland location. She has been a part of the Dental Express team since 2021 and is excited to be owner and operator in Newfoundland. With over 10 years of experience in the field, she is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. Heather-Marie is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dental practices. Heather-Marie focuses on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients, ensuring they receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs. She believes in the importance of education and preventive care, empowering patients to take control of their oral health. Heather-Marie offers appointments in Grand Falls Windsor and all surrounding communities. Fort Mcmurray will deeply miss Heather-Marie’s gentle touch and calming approach to dentistry, but she will be back to visit and see you!

Katilyn Stocking

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kaitlyn was born and raised in Fort McMurray, and loves this community. And is happy to now raise her two kids here. Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Alberta in 2017. She approaches each appointment in a fun and relaxed manner. Helping patients improve their oral health, while providing patient-centred care has been one of Kaitlyn’s passions since becoming a hygienist. Kaitlyn looks forward to meeting and working with new and existing patients on the Dental Hygiene Express.

Savannah Wheaton

Registered Dental Hygienist, Office Manager

Savannah was born and raised in Fort McMurray, and after 3 years of practicing in a diverse downtown Vancouver office she is ready to reemerge herself into the community. Savannah graduated with honours from Vancouver College Dental Hygiene with a clear distinction in wanting to provide informative and comfortable care. Savannah looks forward to working with new and existing clients with Dental Hygiene Express. Savannah offers appointments in Fort McMurray and surrounding areas.

Charity Wells

Registered Dental Hygienist

Charity graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario in 2009 and immediately moved to Fort McMurray. She practiced here for a few years before taking some time off to have her 3 kids. She recently completed her dental hygiene refresher course through the University of Alberta and she is excited to be back in the dental world. Charity is thrilled to be a part of the amazing Dental Hygiene Express team and can't wait to meet and serve your dental needs. Charity offers appointments in Fort McMurray and surrounding areas.

Lynn Brunet

Registered Dental Hygienist

Meet our Hygienist Lynn! Lynn has over 25 years experience as a dental hygienist. She graduated from the bilingual dental hygiene program at Cambrian College in Sudbury Ontario. She joined the Dental Hygiene Express team in July 2021. Lynn is passionate about providing optimal oral care in a non judgmental and casual atmosphere. She enjoys relating to people of all ages and developing professional relationships. She implements oral care routines that suits each person’s unique needs with the key focus on client’s treatment preferences. Lynn has been calling Fort McMurray home since 2019. In her spare time She enjoys spending time with family, reading and on occasion a nice glass of wine. She looks forward to meeting you soon! Lynn offers appointments in Fort McMurray and surrounding areas.

Alysha Stewart

Registered Dental Hygienist

Alysha was born and raised in Kelowna and graduated from Canadian College of Dental Health in Burlington, Ontario in 2010. She is passionate about dental hygiene and takes pride in providing a thorough but gentle experience for her patients. She loves connecting with her patients and getting to know them. In her spare time, Alysha loves being outside and enjoys a good glass of wine. After working in Kelowna for over 12 years, she moved to Calgary in fall 2022 and started with Dental Hygiene Express in spring 2023. She offers appointments in Calgary and Fort McMurray and is looking forward to seeing you!

Heather Glavine

Registered Dental Hygienist

Heather has enjoyed over 25 years working in the dental field. First as a dental assistant before furthering her dental hygiene education in Ontario with owner Brittany in 2006. Her love for the profession can be seen in her thorough but gentle touch, her pursuit for new challenges and her eagerness to achieve optimal oral health for all ages. Although she takes all things serious she's quick with her east coast charm and wit. You're likely to have a laugh whilst seated in the van with her making your experience very comfortable. She looks forward to taking care of you and your family in the Airdrie and surrounding areas.

Alex Whelan

Registered Dental Hygienist

Alex grew up in Alberta and has called Fort McMurray home since 2011. She completed her Diploma in Dental hygeine from Dalhousie University in 2022, then went back to school to complete her Bachelor of Dental Hygiene while working in private practice in Halifax. She is passionate about patient-centred care and strives to create a comfortable environment for her patients. Alex hopes to empower patients with education to improve their oral health. She looks forward to serving patients in Fort McMurray and surrounding areas.

Melissa Wojtowicz

Administrative Manager, Registered Dental Assistant

With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Melissa is a dedicated and skilled RDA known for her exceptional patient care and expertise in clinical procedures.She began her career after graduating from Holland College in PEI as a Level 2 RDA and quickly establishing herself as a vital member of the dental community. Her expertise spans both clinical and administrative tasks, from assisting with procedures and managing patient records to scheduling appointments and handling billing. Her warm demeanor and excellent communication skills make her a trusted point of contact for patients. When she’s not in the office, she loves spending time with her family, exploring new hobbies, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Riane Hamerston

Registered Dental Hygienist

Meet our hygienist, Riane! After completing her Bachelor of Science Degree from Mount Royal University in 2016, Riane decided to pursue her passion of joining the dental field and graduated with High Honors from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2019. She prides herself in building trust and rapport with her patients, ensuring their dental experience is as positive and welcoming as she’s always had. She is passionate about educating her patients on “the why” to help create a team approach for those in her care. In her spare time, Riane is an avid sports fan that enjoys spending time in the sunshine with her family and friends. She looks forward to serving patients in Calgary and surrounding area and can’t wait to see your smiling faces soon!
